One of the most vibrant aspects of the extracurricular activities on most campuses of second cycle institutions and arguably the most patronized is entertainment. After a weeklong routine of academic hustles and bustles, it becomes a welcomed event when entertainment takes center stage of activities during weekends. We of the Okuapemman fraternity are no exception. Our weekend entertainment is one of thrill, excitement and fantasy.

The most discussed activity from the classroom to the dormitories, from the well through the house of bursar and from all places towards the dining hall is that of entertainment. This goes a long way to wet the appetite of students and puts them in an expectant mood for the weekend’s fiesta. It gets so thrilling most students would not want to miss it for all the tea in China.

Okuapemman School entertainment has to a very large extent lived up to expectations though we have an appreciable number of challenges. Every now and then, a potential talent is unveiled. It is interesting and refreshing to note that most students are gradually overcoming their shyness and crowd fear courtesy entertainment. The socializing aspect of entertainment affords students the opportunity to socialize and make friends which in my opinion is very positive for every human institution.

I want to take this medium to appeal to all students to take advantage to bring out their talent. Entertainment programs, like the ones we have in Okuapemman School can provide the most fertile grounds to nurture their talents and propel them in the showbiz which is very lucrative. The superstar we know started from very humble beginnings.

We are grateful to administration and SRC 2005/2006. Through their supportive, they have replaced and purchased damaged non-existing equipments needed to bring live into our entertainment.

It is our prayer that the Lord Almighty who saw us through will strengthen and see our successors through and also to chalk more successes. To GOD be the glory.
