This year’s inter house games( hockey/ handball) took place last week from the 30th of January to the 1st of February 2013 at the school’s Wembley. It was a delight to watch as okuas girls displayed skills in hockey to the admiration of the crowd. The handball was also keenly contested among the three houses. Below is the results and table of all the matches. Really, okuas sports has come of age. Kudos to all especially the teachers who helped in organizing the sports. Thanks

INTER-HOUSES
In Okuapemman school, Inter-houses sporting activities such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, handball and athletics are organized by PE department.
SOCCER
Soccer well known as football is a cherished game in Okuapemman inter-houses sports. This is done to the keen competition which would evolve among Kwadade House (the yellow), Acheampong house (The blues) and Akuffo House (The greens).The soccer inter-house sports are organized in the 1st term of every academic year. The 1st term, 2012’s soccer games paved the way for Kwadade House to emerge as the winner. Kwadade won 2, 1 to Akuffo, Acheampong won 1, 0 to Akuffo and Kwadade played draw game with Acheampong in the all-play-all competition. At the end of the games, Kwadade house was pronounced the winner for the 2012 Inter-houses competition, followed by Acheampong House and then Akuffo House.
BASKET BALL
Basket ball is also a game that all students love to watch. This is the time the blues get to show their flex and skills in B.ball. Basketball in Okuapemman is all about Acheampong house. The house has good players who would always make shots for the house. The house team produces most players to the school’s Basket ball team. Players like Dzare Richard, Amankwa Stephen, Shrim Sai and Nana Kojo are valuable B.ball players from Acheampong House who are in the school’s B .ball team-Acheampong house took the first place in the inter-house sports competition during the 2012 inter-house sports, followed by Kwadade and the Akuffo .
VOLLEY BALL
Volley ball is also an interesting game on campus which draws the attention of most teachers’ .Akuffo House was formerly known to be the “HACKERS” of the volley ball competition. During the 2012 Inter-houses sports, the side turned. Akuffo House lost to Kwadade, Acheampong lost to Kwadade and Akuffo lost to Acheampong, therefore Kwadade House was rounded the winner.
HAND BALL
Hand ball is a sporting activity that separates the boys from the men. This is the time Akuffo House use there
“Big” boys and girls to win matches upon matches. No wonder they emerged as winners in the 2012 sports, followed by Acheampong and Kwadade House.
