Okuapemman School is fortunate to be blessed with an ultra modern library established in 1957 by the founder of the school, Barrister Kwaku Opoku Acheampong and was dedicated to the late Robert Mafoafo Asiedu who served as Chairman for the Board of Governors in this noble institution for 25 years (17th June 1972 – 14th Jan 1997). The Library consists of a ground hall which can accommodate 80 students at a time and about 40 students in the studying room. The library consists of about 1000 and more books covering all courses and also provides daily newspapers, news week, magazines etc. for the student body and staff. However, Okuapemman’s tremendous population growth in recent years has put a great burden on old facilities like the library. The school needs more books in the library. The school therefore appeals to all well wishers and friends of Okuapemman to help stuff the library with modern books.
