PROJECTS IN OKUAPEMMAN SCHOOL

Okuapemman School has on-going and finished projects by the School, the P.T.A, GETFund and past students.

P.T.A Projects;

Below is a list of some projects by the P.T.A so far, undertaken in the school;

i.   Akuffo House (boys) dormitory extension, the construction of two-storey building for both Opoku Akyeampong and Kwadade Houses.

ii.   20-seater Auto-Flush for girls.

iii.   The Association has renovated the School clinic and employed a retired trained nurse and an orderly who were being paid salary every month by the Association.

iv.   The full and regular payment of the staff motivation at the end of every term.

v.   The Association gave/paid an amount of GH₵4,500 to staff as Christmas bonus for December, 2011.

vi.   Financial assistance has extended to some few members of staff who were seriously ill e.g Mr. Johnson Ametepe (mathematics teacher), the late Miss Rosemund Amponsah-Djan (English Language teacher).

vii.   The Association has also given financial assistance to some teachers who travelled abroad on exchange program or Conference: e.g Mr. Felix Essah-Hieno (Former Headmaster), Mr. Fred Jones Asante (English language teacher), Mr. Christian E.M Tedeku (Geography teacher) and Miss Ernestina Saba (Akan teacher).

GET Fund Projects;

The following projects were received from the Akuapem North District Assembly;

i.            3-No. 4-Unit 2 Bedroom Teachers Quarters.

ii.            Completion of Dining Hall Extension.

Other projects;

·      Science Resource Centre rehabilitation

·      6-Unit Classroom Block
